C&G Education

C&G Nest

The shared system for C&G Education’s education delivery — students, staff, sessions, plans, logs, safeguarding, and the information parents and carers can see.

This is not a public website. Accounts are issued by C&G Education. Use the portal that matches your role to sign in.

Three doors into the same platform

Everyone uses a different front door, depending on their role. The records underneath are shared, so what head office schedules is what staff see, and what staff log is what leaders can review.

  • Delivery

    Staff portal

For teachers, job coaches, and careers advisors. Plan and log sessions, see your timetable and assigned students, raise safeguarding concerns, and manage expenses.

What C&G Nest is for

It replaces scattered spreadsheets and ad-hoc processes with one place where office teams schedule work, delivery staff plan and log sessions, safeguarding leads manage concerns, and families see what’s coming up for their child.

  1. 1

    Schedule

Head office puts sessions on the timetable and assigns who leads them.

  2. 2

    Plan

Staff write a session plan, then deliver the session with the student.

  3. 3

    Log

A session log is completed afterwards, including a safeguarding decision.

  4. 4

    Share

Families can see upcoming sessions. Plans, logs, and safeguarding stay internal.

Frequently asked questions

Short answers for the questions we hear most. Open a question to read the full answer.

Which portal should I use?

Teachers, job coaches, and careers advisors use the staff portal. Invited parents and carers use the family portal. Operations, education leadership, safeguarding, and finance use head office. If you are unsure, email the office and they will point you to the right door.

Can I create my own account?

No. C&G Nest is a private platform. C&G Education invites staff and families. If you expected an invitation and have not received it, check your spam folder and then email office@cgeducation.co.uk.

I have forgotten my password. What should I do?

Open the sign-in page for your portal and use “Forgot your password?”. Staff can start from the staff password reset; families from the family password reset. The reset email is sent to the address your invitation used.

What can parents and carers see?

The family portal shows upcoming sessions, who is delivering them, where and when they take place, term dates, and documents C&G Education has chosen to share. It does not show safeguarding records, session logs, medical notes, or other staff-only information.
